Newbie Blogger

Hi! I am totally new at this blogging thing.  I am taking a leap of faith after following several amazing bloggers over the last couple of years.  

My sweet family

To introduce myself to the blogging world, I am going to share 10 things about me so you can get to know me better!

1~ I LOVE Diet Coke and M&Ms!

2~ I have a wonderful husband, Michael, who is a PE teacher.  We teach at the same school!

3~ I have one daughter, Riley.  She is the best person I know and immediately lights up a room when she walks in!

4~ I currently teach 3rd grade! I previously taught 2nd and Kindergarten. 3rd grade is definitely where my heart is!

5~ I am secretly (not anymore!) addicted to watching QVC. Luckily, I have only bought a couple items. Seems strange but I watch it as stress relief. Ha!

6~ I am very passionate about my students and doing what's best for them.

7~ I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education in 2009 from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. GO BULLDOGS!

8~ I loved Barton so much that I went back to get my Master's degree in 2011.

9~ I am addicted to reality TV.  You name it and I probably watch it! 

10~ I am an extremely picky eater. If it has a weird texture, smell, or is a green vegetable I probably won't eat it! 

Well, that's enough about me for now! I can't wait to get this adventure started!
